English Class

In English/World History we have been writing a paper on a free topic that is a global issue.  I am writing mine on the neglect of women's rights in Bangladesh.  Recently we have finished the rough draft and it was great.  I worked very hard on it and it was sort of difficult to write so much on such a narrow topic, but i managed to get it done.   Personally, I don't think my rough draft is all that good because i felt so crunched for time.  Lately we have been so busy in school!  But when we finally do the revisions and editing, I think it will be a lot better!!

Also, we have started to read a book called Nervous Conditions.  So far, I really like it but it is extremely confusing!  I think it is very difficult to remember all the african names because they are so long and unique.  I have noticed that the narrarator, Tambu, is sassy and has a sarcastic attitude.  But she is very good at telling stories from what I have read so I think that it is going to draw my attention and make me enjoy the story a little more.

Reading Log: Nervous Conditions. 34 pages-150 minutes

  1. Your topic sounds interesting! It's a rough draft, so it doesn't have to be perfect right now, but I'm sure it'll be good. I can't remember the names in the book either! But I'm starting to enjoy the book!
